If yes proceed to step three. If no: The camera receives power but will not turn on because either the main switch, the microswitch of the battery door, the microswitch of the CF card compartment, or several switches are not working. Check those switches. Use screwdrivers to check the operation of the microswitches.

Thanks for the reply. After originally looking at the Pus IV and the Plus III, it appeared that they were the latest and greatest and they would work. Neither said that they were specifically compatible with the 6D mark II, just the 6D. I just assumed that Pocket Wizard had not updated their wiki. My bad.

Some programs are free, some are not. One such software would be the aptly named ShutterCount. No idea if that's a free program or not.
